1、 Application and characteristics:
This product is mainly used in video surveillance systems, connected in series between power lines, video signal and control signal input lines, and system equipment to protect the equipment from overvoltage, surge current caused by induced lightning strikes, as well as internal overvoltage and surge current damage to the equipment. This product is designed with a combination of power supply, video signal, and control signal, featuring a reasonable structure, fast and convenient installation, and no need for maintenance.
2、 Protection principle
The power line protection circuit of this product adopts a lightning protection circuit that combines pressure-sensitive and gas discharge tubes. By utilizing the nonlinear characteristics of protective devices (gas discharge tubes, varistors, transient diodes, etc.) on voltage, they are combined and applied. The signal protection circuit adopts a combination type multi-level (two or more levels) protection circuit. The first level adopts a switch type protection device (gas discharge tube GDT), combined with the isolation resistor element used between stages that can withstand surge impact, which can fully discharge most of the surge pulse current into the ground; The second level uses voltage limiting protective devices (transient diode TVSS with extremely fast response time) to effectively clamp the voltage at the output end, ensuring the safe and normal operation of the equipment.
